PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which can enhance the accuracy of the auto-leveling control of a vehicle lighting appliance.SOLUTION: A control device of a vehicle lighting appliance in a certain embedment of this invention comprises: a receiving part 102 which receives an output value of acceleration sensor 110; a position information holding part which holds information indicating an ideal position relation between a shaft at a sensor side in a state that the acceleration sensor 110 is mounted to a vehicle 300, and a shaft at a vehicle side; a correction part 1041 which sets acceleration in a vehicle fore-and-aft direction to a first shaft, plots an output value which is obtained during the traveling of the vehicle at a coordinate in which acceleration in a vehicle left-and-right direction or a vehicle up-and-down direction is set to a second shaft, derives a liner line or a vector from a plurality of plotted points, calculates displacement from the ideal position relation between the shaft at the sensor side and the shaft at the vehicle side by using an inclination of the linear line or an inclination of the vector, and corrects the information; and an adjustment indication part 1042 which derives an inclination angle of the vehicle 300 from current acceleration by using the corrected information, and indicates the optical axis adjustment of the vehicle lighting appliance.
