PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension component for an automobile, which is made of an aluminum alloy having high strength enough for a forged component from an aluminum alloy cast material, and an effective method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A suspension component for an automobile, which is a forged component made of an aluminum alloy, is characterized in that the average of inverse numbers of Schmidt factors calculated from crystal orientation is 2.3 or more in a load stress direction of a maximum stress generation part when an external force is applied.

    【課題】アルミニウム合金鋳造材からの鍛造部品としても、十分な強度を有するアルミニウム合金製の自動車用足回り部品及びその効果的な製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】アルミニウム合金製の鍛造部品であって、外力が印加された場合の最大応力発生部位の負荷応力方向において、結晶方位から算出されるシュミット因子の逆数の平均が2.3以上であること、を特徴とする自動車用足回り部品。【選択図】図3
