PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively develop air-flow separation at the rear end of a rear bumper and smoothly flow an air flow toward the rear of a vehicle while suppressing the occurence of a turbulent flow to reduce air resistance during travelling.SOLUTION: A rear bumper 3 is provide with a first plane part 31 arranged at a vehicle lower end and a second plane part 32 arranged continuously in the rear end of the first plane part 31 and having an angle b different from of an angle a of the first plane part 31. The first plane part 31 has a length of 80 mm or more from the vehicle rear end in vehicle longitudinal directions. The first plane part 31 is arranged longer than the second plane part 32 in the vehicle longitudinal directions. A shape of the lower end part of the rear bumper 3 in the vehicle longitudinal directions is formed under the setting condition that the first plane part 31 and the second plane part 32 have different angles to a road surface G: the angle a of the first plane part 31 to the road face G is in a range of 0°-10°, and the angle b of the second plane part 32 to the road face G is in a range of 45°-170° and is larger than the angle a of the first plane part 31, and that an angular variation between the first plane part 31 and the second plane part 32 is large in a range of 35°-170°.
【課題】リヤバンパーの後端部で気流の剥離を積極的に起こし、乱れた流れの発生を抑えて気流を車両後方へ円滑に流し、走行時の空気抵抗を低減させる。【解決手段】リヤバンパー3には、車両下端に配置される第1平面部31と、第1平面部31の後端に連続して配置され、第1平面部31の角度aと異なる角度bを有する第2平面部32とが設けられ、第1平面部31は、車両前後方向で車両後端から80mm以上の長さを有し、第1平面部31の方が第2平面部32よりも長く車両前後方向に配置され、第1平面部31と第2平面部32との間で路面Gに対する角度が異なり、第1平面部31の路面Gに対する角度aが0?〜10?の範囲にあり、第2平面部32の路面Gに対する角度bが45?〜170?の範囲にあり、第1平面部31の角度aよりも大きく、第1平面部31と第2平面部32との角度変化が大きく、35?〜170?の範囲にあるという設定条件で、リヤバンパー3の車両幅方向にわたる下端部の形状が形成されている。【選択図】図2
