PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize coasting when a traveling vehicle stops during traveling.SOLUTION: A traveling vehicle 100 has a substrate 101 and a steering unit 102 revolvably attached to the substrate 101, and travels on a floor face. The steering unit 102 has a pair of wheels 121, and a pair of motors 122 that drives each wheel 121 independently. The traveling vehicle 100 further has brake means 103 that limits the revolution of the steering unit 102 relative to the substrate 101 when power supply is intercepted and cancels the limitation when power is supplied.
