PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train speed measurement method which is not affected by the influence of idling/sliding of a wheel using image data stably obtained by an on-vehicle camera and does not require a specific vehicle incorporating a measurement method, and a train position specifying method and device thereof.SOLUTION: The train speed measurement device includes: a step P1 of imaging the front of the train advancing direction by a camera and storing a frame image thereof; a step P3 of subjecting a trapezoidal image including a rail in the frame image to a true bird's-eye-view processing so as to form a rectangular image; a step P4 of calculating a pixel moving amount from the correlation of the rectangular image subjected to the true bird's-eye-view processing of the front and rear frame images; and a step P5 of obtaining a train speed based on a reference distance between the calculated pixel moving amount and the rail and a frame time.

    【課題】車載カメラにより安定して得られる画像データを用いて、車輪の空転・滑走の影響を受けず、かつ、計測装置を組み込んだ特別な車両を必要としない列車速度計測方法および列車位置特定方法並びにそれらの装置を提供する。【解決手段】カメラで列車進行方向前方を撮影してフレーム画像を格納するステップP1と、フレーム画像の中のレールが含まれる台形画像を矩形画像に真俯瞰化処理するステップP3と、前後のフレーム画像の真俯瞰化処理された矩形画像の相関から画素移動量を算出するステップP4と、算出された画素移動量とレール間の基準距離とフレーム時間とに基づいて列車速度を求めるステップP5とを含む。【選択図】図3A
