PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child occupant protection device capable of suppressing abrupt slowdown of an occupant when longitudinal acceleration is generated.SOLUTION: The child occupant protection device comprises a junior seat 5 having a seat back 3 standing from a seat cushion part 2, and applies restraint to an occupant 1 by hanging a belt 7 in a Z-shape state from one shoulder part of the occupant 1 seating on the seat cushion part 2. The child occupant protection device further comprises a belt guide 9 configured to hold the belt 7 and contact the shoulder part of the occupant 1 seating on the seat cushion part 2, and have an area expansion mechanism for expanding an area to which the restraint acts to the shoulder part of the occupant 1 so as to become larger than a contact area of the belt 7 to the shoulder part, by being interposed between the belt 7 and the shoulder part of the occupant 1, when predetermined or more degree of acceleration is generated so that the occupant 1 is in an abrupt slowdown state.

    【課題】前後加速度が生じたときに乗員が前のめりになることを抑制することができる子供乗員保護装置を提供する。【解決手段】シートクッション部2から立ち上がっているシートバック3を有するジュニアシート5を備え、前記シートクッション部2に着座した乗員1の一方の肩部からたすき掛け状にベルト7を掛けて前記乗員1に拘束力を与える子供乗員保護装置において、前記シートクッション部2に着座した前記乗員1の肩部に接触するとともに、前記ベルト7を保持するように構成され、かつ前記乗員1が前のめりになる所定以上の加速度が発生した場合に、前記ベルト7と前記乗員1の肩部との間に介在させられて前記乗員1の肩部に対して前記拘束力が作用する面積を前記ベルト7の前記肩部に対する接触面積より拡大させる面積拡大機構を有するベルトガイド9を備えている。【選択図】図1
