PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module capable of preventing moisture to infiltrate inside due to a change in environmental temperature, making dew condensation inside the optical module hardly to occur, and achieving high reliability.SOLUTION: A drying layer 107 is provided at a boundary surface between an optical module cover 102 or a plane packing 103, and a base 104. Since moisture may be absorbed by the drying layer, moisture hardly infiltrates into the inside of a module from the boundary surface.

    【課題】環境温度の変化による内部への水分の浸入をふせぎ、光モジュール内部での結露が起こりにくくし、高信頼性を実現することができる光モジュールを提供する。【解決手段】光モジュールカバー102もしくは平面パッキン103と、ベース104の界面に乾燥層107を設ける。水分を乾燥層で吸収できるため、界面からモジュール内部へ水分が侵入しにくくなる。【選択図】図6
