PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame support structure for a passenger conveyor that enables even an existing passenger conveyor to conveniently extend the overlap allowance length of a frame support angle to a building skeleton in a state of installation to the building skeleton with no burden on an operator, and to sufficiently prevent a frame drop in compliance with a new aseismatic guide.SOLUTION: In this frame support structure, an additional frame 2 provided by being fixed integrally with a passenger conveyor frame 6 has an overlap allowance longer than an overlap allowance of a frame support angle 1 with a building skeleton 7, so that even an existing passenger conveyor designed on an old aseismatic guide can extend the overlap allowance length of the frame support angle 1 to the building skeleton 7 in a state of installation to the building skeleton 7 with no burden on an operator, thereby modifying the passenger conveyor as a safe and secure passenger conveyor which can sufficiently prevent a drop of a frame 6 in compliance with a new aseismatic guide. By exchanging an entrance floor frame for the entrance floor 4 in a passenger conveyor of an existing structure, it may be possible to use the additional frame 2 as an entrance floor frame.

    【課題】既設の乗客コンベアであっても、作業員に負担を掛けずに建築躯体への設置状態で簡便に建築躯体に対するフレーム支持アングルのかかり代の長さを延長でき、新耐震指針に適応してフレーム落下を十分に防止できる乗客コンベア用フレーム支持構造を提供する。【解決手段】このフレーム支持構造では、乗客コンベアのフレーム6に一体的に固定して設けられた追加フレーム2がフレーム支持アングル1と建築躯体7とのかかり代よりも長いかかり代を持つため、既設の旧耐震指針で設計された乗客コンベアでも、作業員に負担を掛けずに建築躯体7への設置状態で簡便に建築躯体7に対するかかり代の長さを延長でき、新耐震指針に適応してフレーム6の落下を十分に防止できる安心・安全な乗客コンベアとして改修できる。追加フレーム2は、既設構造の乗客コンベアにおける乗降口床4用の乗降口床枠を交換して乗降口床枠を兼用する役目を持つようにしても良い。【選択図】図1
