PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start the engine of a hybrid vehicle with power consumption suppressed and without causing a feeling of lagging.SOLUTION: An engine start control apparatus performs: setting a predetermined target transmission torque capacity as a transmission torque capacity of a clutch and controlling torque of a first motor-generator so that an input rotation speed of a power division mechanism matches a predetermined target rotation speed; controlling the torque of the motor so that torque of the motor exerted to a clutch equals to torque equivalent to the target transmission torque capacity when an input rotation speed reaches the target rotation speed; and correcting output torque of the motor using correction toque calculated on the basis of inertia moment of the motor and a gear ratio of the power division mechanism in the case where the input rotation speed is deviated from the target rotation speed by a predetermined given value or more (step S4).

    【課題】ハイブリッド車のエンジンの始動を電力消費を抑制し、かつもたつき感を生じさせることなく実行する。【解決手段】クラッチの伝達トルク容量を予め定めた目標伝達トルク容量に設定するとともに、動力分割機構の入力回転数が予め定めた目標回転数となるように第1モータ・ジェネレータのトルクを制御し、入力回転数が前記目標回転数に達した場合に、モータによってクラッチに掛かるトルクが目標伝達トルク容量と等しいトルクとなるようにモータのトルクを制御し、入力回転数が目標回転数から予め定めた所定値以上離れた場合に、モータの出力トルクをそのモータの慣性モーメントと動力分割機構のギヤ比とに基づいて求めた補正トルクで補正する(ステップS4)。【選択図】図1
