PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work-piece protective material which is used in the state that the material is mounted onto a suspension hacker, whereby a work-piece is prevented from contacting an inner surface of a hook opening and being damaged.SOLUTION: A work-piece protective material 10 for a suspension hacker has: a main part for covering an inner surface of an opening of a hook part of a suspension hacker 1; a base end surrounding part 12 which is provided at one longitudinal end of the main part and surrounds a side end part of a sling part of the hook part; an intermediate surrounding part 13 which is provided at a longitudinal intermediate of the main part and surrounds an intermediate part of the hook part; and a tip surrounding part 14 which is provided at the other longitudinal end of the main body and surrounds a tip claw part of the hook part. The base end surrounding part and the intermediate surrounding part are formed in a tunnel-like shape, and the tip surrounding part is formed in a bag-like shape. An omission preventing hole, through which an antiskid is inserted, is formed on inner surface of the base end surrounding part when mounting, whereby falling of the work-piece protective material 10 when mounted on a pair of hook parts of a two claws type suspension hacker respectively can be prevented.
