An aircraft wing (5, fig 1) and tuning the wing comprises a fixed wing (7) and a wing tip device (9) rotatably mounted on a hinge 11 at a tip of the fixed wing. An actuation system 20 rotates the wing tip device, and the actuation system comprises a motor 22, at least one geared rotary actuator 24, and a clutch 28 selectively decoupling rotation of the motor from rotation of the rotary actuator. The clutch is coupled to the rotary actuator by a shaft 26a having an affixed mass 40 disposed radially outward from the shaft. The shaft diameter is less than the outer diameter of the rotary actuator and the mass outer diameter is substantially the same as the rotary actuator. The mass may be Tungsten and comprise an annulus, wheel or ring, with the shaft extending through a hole in the mass. The mass may be disposed forward of the rotary actuator(s) towards a leading edge of the wing (fig 14), between rotary actuators and the clutch (figs 9a & 9b), or between a pair of rotary actuators (fig 15). The mass varies inertia and frequency of wing tip oscillation when the clutch is disengaged during flight.
