A cable arrangement, suitable for an offshore windfarm 10, comprises a substation 26, a hub 12 at a midwater location connected to the substation 26, and at least two wind turbines 18 at surface locations connected to the hub 12. The cable arrangement further comprises dynamic cables 20 extending from the turbines 18 which are electrically connected to the hub 12, and a feeder cable 28 extending from the hub 12 to the substation 26. A method of forming the cable arrangement is specified. At least one of the turbines 18 may be a floating turbine. The hub 12 may be supported at the midwater location using buoyancy 44. The buoyancy 44 may be provided at a subsurface location. The hub 12 may be tethered to a seabed foundation 42 by one or more tensile members 40 placed under tension by the subsurface buoyancy 44.
