A hydrogen fuel cell power generator 100 includes an electrical conversion system 130, an electrical power generation system 110 and a fluid interface system arranged sequentially along a longitudinal axis L1 of a container structure 102. The electrical conversion system is operable as a DC-DC converter. The electrical power generation system includes at least one hydrogen fuel cell system 110a-d, which generates power convertible by the electrical conversion system. The fluid interface system transfers fluids between an externally located fluid handling apparatus (400, Figure 5) and the electrical power generation system. The power generator may include a second electrical power generation system 111 including at least one second hydrogen fuel cell system 111a-d which also generates power convertible by the electrical conversion system. The fluid interface system may be arranged between the first electrical power generation system and the second electrical power generation system and can transfer fluid between the fluid handling apparatus and both the first and second electrical power generation systems. The container structure may be a shipping container having a length and width compliant with intermodal container ISO standards. The hydrogen fuel cell power generator may be used on a marine vessel (200, Figure 5).
