A roll stabilisation system for an aircraft ejection seat 14, 214 may be provided. An integral seat sequencer 202 may activate an ejection sequence causing an aircraft ejection seat 14 to be ejected from an aircraft 12. The seat comprising a high energy catapult 204, a trajectory divergence rocket motor 208 that modifies a first trajectory of the ejected seat, and a roll correction rocket motor 210 that ameliorates rotational movement. The various rocket motors are activated by the integral seat sequencer in the event that an undesired rotational movement is detected. Additionally disclosed is a system that comprises a second ejection seat of the aircraft wherein the roll stabilisation provides ameliorates rotational movement of the seat induced by the first rocket motor. Also disclosed is a computer readable medium that stores instruction that when executed by a controller cause the controller to perform a method of roll stabilisation utilising the catapult, trajectory divergence rocket motor and active roll rocket motor in combination with the integral seat sequencer.
