The present invention relates to a novel form of air, land, subsea or space propulsion, achieved through the use of appropriate electromagnetic interactions. By using capacitors formed by symmetrical or asymmetrical conductors (1) and (2), surrounded by a dielectric (3), subjected to asymmetrical voltage pulses or voltage pulses having an asymmetrical electric field derivative, directional propulsion forces are obtained. This is possible due to a novel electromagnetic propulsion mechanism that uses the conservation of total moment in which the sum of the mechanical moment and the electric field moment must always be conserved, resulting in a constant and zero sum total of the two components, in which the variation in the electric field moment will generate a corresponding change in the mechanical moment of the capacitor, thus generating propulsion forces in which the inertial forces are attenuated, being able to generate force fields.
