An electric vehicle with a turbine that can be rotated by wind energy, with the kinetic energy of the rotating turbine being convertible into electrical energy to charge the vehicle’s batteries. The turbine can be located at the front of the vehicle in a similar location to that of a cooling fan in a fuel-powered vehicle to be driven by wind passing over the front of the vehicle; or on the vehicle’s wheels to be driven by wind passing by the side of the vehicle. The battery can be charged by AC, DC, or other forms of current; and the orientation of the blades can be adjusted. The kinetic energy of the rotating turbine can be used to heat water and drive a steam turbine to charge the electric battery; and the turbine can be disengaged by the driver when not in use.
