A sports goal wheel/castor assembly for moving a sports goal is described. The assembly comprises: a housing 210; a lifting member 220; a wheel (230, figure 6) attached to the lifting member; a cam 240 comprising a track 241; and a cam follower 250. The cam follower is coupled with the track, such that rotation of the lifting member causes the cam follower to move along the track to cause the lifting member to move linearly in relation to the housing between a raised position and a lowered position, thereby raising and lowering the housing relative to the wheel. The track may take the form of a double helix. The cam follower may extend between openings 244,245 in the track. The track may be formed in the lifting member. The track may include a locking portion 246 to resist rotation of the lifting member. The lifting member may include a handle 225. Also described is a sports goal, such as a football goal, comprising the sports goal wheel assembly.
