A three-dimensional space wall-climbing polishing robot is composed of two independent wall-climbing polishing robots 1, 2 connected by a turnover mechanism, the two robots having polishing mechanisms 17 and the turnover mechanism comprises a stepping motor 2 connected with a sector gear reducer 3 connected via a coupler 5 with a pitching rotating shaft 6 having a sliding bearing 7, a connecting hoop 8 and a first fixed corner 9 by which the second robot 4 is fixed to the gear reducer 3. Each robot may include a shell (10 fig. 2), a chassis (11 fig. 2), Mecanum wheels (12 fig. 2), driving motors (13 fig. 3), a polishing mechanism (17 fig. 4), a vacuum negative pressure mechanism (18 fig. 4) and a control module (19 fig. 3). Also disclosed is a polishing efficiency control method comprising polishing motion process modelling, polishing quality modelling, polishing area generation and intelligent polishing path planning. An efficiency control model is built with a target of shortest polishing time, and an efficiency is improved maximumly while a polishing safety and a polishing quality are guaranteed. House wall surfaces, military and civilian shelter vehicles, wooden furniture and other three-dimensional spaces may be polished by the robot efficiently and safely in an environmentally friendly manner.
