A vehicle powertrain mount assembly has a link arm 130 connectable to the powertrain; an end of the link arm coupled to a main resilient element 140; a first body 110 supporting the main resilient element 140, the first body 110 connectable to a vehicle frame (e.g. at side rails 2a, 2b); a second body 120 (separate from the first body 110) connectable to the vehicle frame at a spaced apart second location (e.g. to cross piece 150), and the second body 120 having an abutment surface 122 to limit movement of the end of the link arm (e.g. in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle). Movement in other directions can also be limited (figs 3-5), providing a separate load path for larger forces from the powertrain to be transmitted to the vehicle frame 102, and the size of the first body 110 reduced, improving the crumple performance of side rails 2a, 2b. Abutment surfaces can have auxiliary resilient elements.
