The present invention relates to a mechanism of a robotic limb designed to mimic the natural movements of animals, such as the motion of legs or wings. The biomimetic mechanism increases the energy efficiency and fluidity of motion, while supressing the use of servos as an active driver of locomotion, as they are exclusively used to adjust end effector trajectory by changing the relative position of specific hinge axis. Therefore, the present invention relates to the robotics field, in particular to locomotion mechanisms.
