A method of setting a driving profile in a remote vehicle forces specific driving behaviour. A software application on a computer server 1 is used to create a preferred driving profile. The data containing the profile is transmitted over a cellular network 2 to a driving management device 17 located in a remote vehicle. On receiving the data the driving management device 17 adjusts the voltage between the vehicle accelerator pedal 12 and the vehicle electronic control unit 13. The adjustment of the voltage signal between the throttle pedal 12 and the electronic control unit 13 allows the remote application to manage the maximum speed, acceleration profile or maximum engine revs of the vehicle. The maximum speed may be set to apply at a given date, time or geo-location.
