A wheeled personal mobility aid comprising a wheel 2, a carriage 7 configured to be moveable, such as by rotation, circumferentially around the wheel, and a user support means 10 for supporting a user while walking, the user support means being coupled to the carriage. The user support may be configured to receive an upper limb of a user or may comprise a handle bar or an arm rest. Said user support may be rotatably coupled to the carriage and may be height adjustable. The wheel may also be foldable via hinges (35, 34 See figs. 34-35). Additionally, the wheel may be; a centerless wheel, made of segments, comprise a rail where the support means is meant to engage the rail, and may be locomotive (motorised). Another aspect of the invention may be a singular wheeled child transportation device comprising a wheel (212, see fig. 38), a carriage (217) and a control means (210) for controlling movement of the device.
