A garment (1, fig. 1) including at least one limb portion (5, fig. 1) (e.g. a sleeve 7 or leg 9 portion, fig. 1) for receiving a limb, the limb portion having an outer layer of material 17 and an inner liner 19 for receiving an extremity 22 (e.g. a hand or foot) of said limb, the liner being releasably attached 21 to the outer layer such that the liner detaches during donning of the garment. Preferably a low-friction material is provided on the outer side of the liner to facilitate sliding along an inner surface of the outer layer. The garment might be a wetsuit, immersion suit or dry suit. In use the lining might receive e.g. a boot (22, fig. 2) and mitigate the grip of the boot on the inside of the garment allowing fast donning in an emergency, e.g. an accident at sea.
