A structural node for a motor vehicle comprises at least three structural members 3, 6, (5, figure 1) united by a reinforcing part 24 located in a hollow space defined by the structural members. The reinforcing part being fixed to an inner part 15 of at least one structural member (5) such as a transversely running roof frame, preferably by spot-welding, and fixed to an outer part 41of another 6 of the structural members, preferably by adhesion. The reinforcing part is preferably fixed to an outer part of a third structural member. An edge of an outer part of a structural member may be joined to another structural member outer part and an edge of an inner part of a structural member may be joined to another structural member inner part. A projection (29, figure 3) located lying adjacent the inner part 15 is provided between fixing flanges (28 and 30) of the reinforcing part 24, and is preferably fixed to the inner part 15.
