An aircraft wing comprises a fixed wing 12 with a wing tip device 14 movable between flight and ground configurations. A master flight control surface 18 (e.g. trailing edge aileron or leading edge slat or flap) is associated with the fixed wing 12 and a slave flight control surface 20 is associated with the wing tip device 14. An interface 22 provides a rigid connection between master 18 and slave 20 control surfaces in the flight configuration. Moving the master control surface 18 about a control axis 26 causes the slave control surface 20 moving about the control axis 26. The interface 22 is arranged to de-couple the slave and master control surfaces when the wing tip device is moved into the ground configuration, reducing the wing span. Preferably the flight control surfaces 18, 20 passively disengage due to this movement. Interface 22 may comprise series of grooves, protrusions or formations. The wing tip device 14 may be separated from the fixed wing 12 along an oblique plane angled to vertical or horizontal axes. Preferably, the plane of interface 22 is normal to rotational axis 28A and the rotational axis 28A are not parallel or perpendicular to control axis 26.
