A wheel oscillation controller 200 for a vehicle 900 and a control method 100 are provided. The controller 200 comprises input means 202 for receiving one or more signals 201 indicative of oscillation of at least one wheel of the vehicle; processing means 204 for determining whether the oscillation of the at least one wheel exceeds an oscillation value based on the one or more signals 201; and output means 206 to provide a signal 207 to cause an adaptive suspension damper associated with the wheel to reduce wheel oscillation. In other embodiments, the output means 706 is configured to provide a signal 707 to cause an adaptive electric machine associated with the wheel to reduce wheel oscillation.
