An aircraft passenger seat comprises a seat back 3 and a seat pan 4, the seat pan 4 being pivotally connected at or around a forward end thereof to a seat frame 20 at a first pivot point P1 and at or around a rearward end thereof to a lower end of the seat 3 back at a second pivot point P2, the seat back 3 having an extension 23 extending beyond the second pivot point P2 and engaging a guide track 26 in or connected to the seat frame 20, and a reclining actuator 24 for driving the extension 23 along the guide track 26 so as to adjust the reclining of the seat. The extension 23 may be driven by a rack 25 and pinion 24 alongside the track 26. The guide track 26 may have a first section S1 along which the extension 23 moves to adjust the from an upright position (fig 1a) to a reclined position (fig. 1c) via a TTOL position (fig. 1b). A second section S2 of the guide track 26 may allow the seat to move to a flat bed configuration (fig. 1d).
