A powertrain housing assembly 200, for a vehicle powertrain, comprising a powertrain housing 210 having an integral mount 230 with a protrusion 232 which receives a torque roll restrictor (120, fig 2) for attaching the housing 210 to a vehicle sub-frame. The torque roll restrictor (120) may have arms (124a, 124b) that span either side of the protrusion 232 to which the arms (124a, 124b) are attached via a bolt (128) and a resilient element 236 so that torque roll restrictor may move relative to the mount 230. A collar 238 may be provided in the resilient element 236 and has a bore 234 though which the bolt (128) extends. An axis of the bore 234 may be parallel to a crank shaft axis and/or an output shaft axis of the vehicle. Alternatively the bore 234 may be a blind bore that extends partway through the protrusion 232 so that only a single connection point is required.
