A tyre 3 for a golf trolley, cart or buggy has a plurality of studs 11 arranged in a circumferential direction around an outer surface 13a of the tyre 3 and extending generally radially from the outer surface 13a of the tyre 3. The studs 11 terminate in a ground contacting surface 11a that is generally rectangular in plan view having a length transverse to the rolling direction of the tyre 3 and a width parallel to the rolling direction of the tyre 3. The studs 11 are of trapezium shape in cross-section in a plane normal to the axis of rotation of the tyre 3 and generally parallel to the rolling direction of the tyre 3. The studs 11 may be arranged in two rows 15a, 15b with the studs 11 in one row 15a being offset in the circumferential direction relative to the studs 11 in the other row 15a.
