The invention relates to an intelligent traffic analysis system for assisting driving, and the system comprises an information input mechanism which is disposed in a vehicle-mounted terminal, and is used for analyzing a plurality of standby driving routes between two places based on an electronic map, a destination, and the positioning data of a departure place; the data extraction mechanism is used for acquiring each historical driving average vehicle speed corresponding to each confirmed license plate information on each standby driving route, and further determining a reference driving speed of the standby driving route; and the selection executing mechanism is used for selecting the standby driving route with the highest reference driving speed as the target driving route. The intelligent traffic analysis system for auxiliary driving is reliable in data and stable in operation. The overall vehicle speed of the driving route can be judged in real time according to the habitual driving vehicle speed of each vehicle actually driving on the driving route, and meanwhile, a dual vehicle information identification mechanism of firstly extracting positioning information and then confirming a remote sensing picture is adopted, so that the reliability of driving route selection is improved.
