A device, suitable for clearing snow from the path of a vehicle’s tyres, comprising a body with a snow-clearing brush 12 on its lower end. When a start switch is pressed, a first signal is sent to a circuit board (3, Figure A) to a retractable mechanism (14, Figure A) to release and lower the body so that the brush 12 can sweep snow on the ground. A second signal is sent to a DC motor (4, Figure A) which rotates the synthetic brush 12 to clear snow from the vicinity of a vehicle tyre; and the rotation speed of the brush can be adjusted by the circuit board (3, Figure A). A spring (10, Figure A) allows the body to move up and down, which aims to maintain the contact of the brushes 12 with the ground on uneven roads.
