The present invention relates to the provision of an improve aircraft wing and flight control surface. More particularly, the invention seeks to provide a flight control surface with an actuator with an improved aerodynamic fairing. The aircraft comprises a swept aircraft wing (12). The aircraft wing comprises a movable flight control surface with a hinge line (X) non-perpendicular to the line of flight of the aircraft, and an actuator arm (20) configured to actuate the flight control surface. The actuator arm (20) comprises a longitudinal axis (Y) substantially aligned with the line of flight, the actuator arm (16) extending at least partially from an outer surface of the aircraft wing (12), and a fairing (18) arranged on the outer surface of the aircraft wing to at least partially cover the actuator arm (16). Aligning the actuator arm with the line of flight of the aircraft may allow for an improved fairing to be provided.
