The present disclosure provides a determination method and apparatus of recycling mode for battery, an electronic device, and a storage medium. By obtaining carbon emissions from power loss according to battery type, cycle number of battery, battery charge-discharge efficiency, battery capacity retention rate, power emission factor, and rated capacity of battery, where the carbon emissions from power loss are carbon emissions generated by power loss during charging and discharging of battery; obtaining carbon emissions per single charge-discharge of regeneration-utilized and cascade-utilized batteries respectively, according to the carbon emissions from power loss, the carbon emissions from recycling process and the battery cycle life; and comparing the carbon emissions per single charge-discharge of regeneration-utilized and cascade-utilized batteries, so as to determine the recycling mode with the less carbon emissions as a target battery recycling mode, retired batteries can be processed into low-carbon battery products to meet the demand of energy storage companies and new energy vehicle manufacturers for low-carbon products, which ultimately leads to a low-carbon and eco-friendly solution.     The present invention provides a battery recycling approach determination method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. According to a battery type, a number of battery cycles, battery charging and discharging efficiency, a battery capacity retention rate, a power emission factor and a rated battery capacity, obtaining a power loss carbon emission amount, the power loss carbon emission amount being an amount of carbon emissions generated by power loss during the battery charging and discharging process. According to the power loss carbon emission amount, a recycling process carbon emission amount and a battery cycle life, the carbon emission amount of a single charge and discharge of a recycled-use and an echelon-use battery are separately obtained. The carbon emission amounts of a single charge and discharge of recycled-use and echelon-use batteries are compared, and a method having a smaller carbon footprint is chosen as a target standard recycling method for the battery to be determined. Accordingly, retired batteries are processed into low-carbon battery products, meeting low-carbon product requirements of energy storage enterprises and new energy automobile manufacturers, and ultimately achieving low-carbon environmental protection.
