Le but de l'invention est d'absorber une charge d'impact latéral transmise à partir d'un longeron latéral afin de protéger une batterie. Pour cela, l'invention propose des premières traverses (3) et une batterie (4) disposées respectivement au-dessus et au-dessous d'un panneau de plancher (2). Le panneau de plancher inclut une portion de stockage de batterie (21) bombant vers le haut. Le panneau de plancher est joint à des longerons latéraux (1) via des portions planes externes (22). La première traverse inclut un organe supérieur (31) et un organe inférieur (32) séparés. Une portion d'extrémité externe (32a) est jointe au longeron latéral, et une portion de bride inférieure est jointe à la portion plane externe. La portion d'extrémité externe est jointe à une portion supérieure de l'organe inférieur vers l'extérieur dans la direction de la largeur du véhicule depuis une portion de paroi dressée (21B).
