Rear view mirror frame rotation system, consisting of: a drive motor (1); a worm motor (2) with a motor output shaft (1); a crown wheel motor (3) with a geared worm motor (2); a worm drive (4), coaxial with a crown wheel motor (3); a worm crown wheel motor (5) with a geared worm drive (4), designed so that the rear view mirror can be manoeuvred between a retracted and deployed position. The rotation system includes an anti-rebound mechanism between the motor (1) and the worm motor (2) which includes; a washer (11) attached to the motor (1); a second washer (12) attached to the worm motor (2); and a spring washer (13) connecting the first (11) and second washer (12). The anti-rebound mechanism thrusts the worm motor (2) against the crown wheel drive (3), thereby reducing the axial load and increasing durability.
