A charging communication method for charging electric vehicles, according to the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: establishing a communication connection by using a first communication technique between a SECC and an EVCC; initializing connection and pairing using a second communication technique between the SECC and the EVCC on the basis of information about the second communication technique; performing positioning and pairing between a primary assembly and a secondary assembly by using the second communication technique between the SECC and the EVCC; and performing docking, charging, and undocking between the primary assembly and the secondary assembly by using the second communication technique between the SECC and the EVCC.
