The present invention relates to a rear body structure of a vehicle comprising a gate (10) mounted movably on two walls by way of an articulation arm (20), one of the walls comprising a guide means (30, 40) for guiding the articulation arm (20), the guide means (30, 40) comprising at least two camways, the articulation arm (20) comprising two cams secured to the articulation arm (20) that are each arranged in a different camway, the two camways each comprising a first portion (402, 302) and a second portion (404, 304) which is inclined with respect to the first portion, the first portions (402, 302) of the camways being parallel to one another, the second portions (404, 304) of the camways being inclined in the opposite direction with respect to one another.
