The electro-mechanical braking system includes a clamp body, where the clamp body includes two sliding blocks, a screw rod, and a gain bridge, one of the sliding blocks is configured to be movably connected to one friction plate and the gain bridge, the gain bridge is configured to drive the friction plate, the other sliding block is configured to be in transmission connection to the sliding block and the other friction plate through the screw rod, and the screw rod is configured to be in threaded connection to the other sliding block; and a driving apparatus, where the driving apparatus is configured to drive the gain bridge and the sliding block and is configured to drive, through a one-way torque limiting apparatus, the screw rod to rotate along an axis of the screw rod relative to the two sliding blocks In this application, the electro-mechanical braking system decouples a braking force gain and wear compensation through the one-way torque limiting apparatus. This improves reliability of the electro-mechanical braking system.
