A method and a device for verifying aircraft status information are disclosed. According to at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a UAM aircraft for verifying aircraft status information may include receiving first state information of a first UAM aircraft, verifying the first status information, transmitting anomaly information of the first UAM aircraft to a ground control system (GCS) when the first status information is not verified, receiving rule set update information from the GCS when the GCS determines that the first status information is information transmitted by an attacker, and updating a rule set based on the rule set update information.
