The present invention relates to a heat-protecting fuel supply arrangement. In order to provide for lighter fuel cells that are also suitable for adaptions a heat-protecting fuel supply arrangement (10) for a fuel cell (12) is provided. The heat-protecting fuel supply arrangement (10) comprises a manifold (14), being a duct arrangement (16) that comprises at least one fuel supply line (18) and at least one coolant duct (20) and a heat protection shielding (22). The manifold is formed to be mounted to an end connection portion (24) of the fuel cell. The manifold is formed to supply the fuel cell with a fuel (26) via the at least one fuel supply line and to provide cooling (28) at least to the fuel supply line via the at least one coolant duct. The manifold is made from a polymeric material (30). The structural integrity of the manifold is defined by the polymeric material. The heat protection shielding is arranged to protect at least a portion of an outer surface (32) of the at least one fuel supply line against external thermal sources (34) to mitigate thermal changes (36) of the manifold.
