A backpack (10) is configured to be releasably coupled to a bicycle rack (21), wherein the bicycle rack (21) comprises at least one tube (30) having a substantially horizontally arranged tube section (31). The backpack (10) comprises a bag (100) comprising a rear face (120). The backpack (10) comprises a pair of shoulder straps (200a, 200b), wherein each shoulder strap (200a, 200b) comprises a lower end portion (210a, 210b) and an upper end portion (220a, 220b) which are respectively connected to the rear face (120). Furthermore, the backpack (10) comprises a pair of flexible coupling elements (300a, 300b), wherein a respective flexible coupling element (300a, 300b) is connected to the upper end portion (220a, 220b) of a respective shoulder strap (200a, 200b) and wherein each flexible coupling element (300a, 300b) is configured to be wound around the at least one tube (30) to releasably fasten the backpack (10) to the bicycle rack (21). Furthermore, the backpack (10) comprises a suspension element (400) connected to the rear face (120), wherein the suspension element (400) is configured to be engaged with the substantially horizontally arranged tube section (31) such that, when the suspension element (400) is engaged with the substantially horizontally arranged tube section (31), the backpack (10) is suspended vertically from and adjacent to the bicycle rack (21). The suspension element (400) is arranged adjacent to the pair of flexible coupling elements (300a, 300b) such that, when the suspension element (400) is engaged with the substantially horizontally arranged tube section (31), each flexible coupling element (300a, 300b) of the pair of flexible coupling elements (300a, 300b) can be wound around the at least one tube (30).
