The invention relates to a charging device (1, 2) for fast charging systems of electrically powered vehicles, comprising an elongated body (11, 21) having a longitudinal charging channel (111, 211) terminated with openings for inserting and/or removing the contact device (31) into and/or from the charging channel (111, 211), and electrical contacts (121, 122, 123, 221, 222, 223) in the form of strip-like conductive surfaces extending along the charging channel (111, 211) and configured to form electrical conductive pairs with point electrical contacts (311) of the contact device (31), wherein an at least one longitudinal insulating groove (114, 214) runs between the adjacent electrical contacts (121, 122, 123, 221, 222, 223).
