The invention relates to a system (1) for an automated vehicle (3) for determining a respective prediction about the behaviour of one or more other road users, comprising a sensor unit (5) and a computer unit (7), wherein the sensor unit (5) is designed for and functions to detect other road users and for transferring detected data relating to same to the computer unit (7), wherein the computer unit (7) is designed such that, from the data of the sensor unit (5), it categorises a respective road user into a respective predefined group of road users stored in a database, it executes a social force model associated with the respective group of respective road users and also stored in the database, and it parameterises the respective social force model based on information in the sensor data relating to the respective road user in relation to their current status, and to predict a future behaviour of the respective road user from the respective parameterised social force model.
