The invention relates to an electro-mechanical braking apparatus (100). The electro-mechanical braking apparatus includes a braking motor (10) and a lock apparatus (20). One end of a motor shaft of the braking motor is configured to drive a brake, the brake being configured to brake a vehicle, and the lock apparatus is configured to lock the braking motor through the other end of the motor shaft of the braking motor. The lock apparatus includes a clutch (30), an axial moving member (40), and a driving motor (50). The clutch is sleeved on the other end of the motor shaft of the braking motor. The axial moving member is configured to: move along an axial direction of the braking motor relative to the clutch and control the clutch to lock or release the other end of the motor shaft of the braking motor. The driving motor is configured to drive the axial moving member to move away from or toward the clutch. The clutch can lock the braking motor during parking braking, and the braking motor does not need to stay in a working state for a long time. In this way, reliability of the electro-mechanical braking apparatus is improved, and safety of the vehicle is further improved.
