The application provides a battery charging circuit, applicable to an electric vehicle. The battery charging circuit includes a bidirectional vehicle-mounted charging module; a first loop switch module, configured to, once turned on, electrically connect a direct current charging interface of a charging pile to a first end of the bidirectional vehicle-mounted charging module, and a second end of the bidirectional vehicle-mounted charging module to a battery pack of the electric vehicle, when the charging pile is charging the electric vehicle; a second loop switch module, configured to, once turned on, electrically connect the direct current charging interface of the charging pile to the battery pack of the electric vehicle, when the charging pile is charging the electric vehicle; the bidirectional vehicle-mounted charging module, configured to boost a direct current voltage output by the charging pile to be higher than a preset voltage; and a control module, configured to control the first loop switch module to be turned on or the second loop switch module to be turned on, according to the direct current voltage of the charging pile.
