A motor vehicle, wherein two or more optical interfaces are used, is characterised in that a first data transmission interface is operated with a polarised transmitted light beam, and a laser scanner is operated with a polarised transmitted light beam, and/or a second data transmission interface is operated with a polarised transmitted light beam. The polarisation plane of the polarised transmitted light beam of the first data transmission interface is different from the polarisation plane of the polarised transmitted light beam of the laser scanner and/or of the polarised transmitted light beam of the second data transmission interface.
