The braking apparatus includes a hydraulic block, a master cylinder part, and a travel sensor. The hydraulic block is provided with a first groove and a second groove. The second groove extends in a first direction. The master cylinder part is located in the second groove and is in sliding contact with the second groove. The master cylinder part in the second groove is internally provided with a permanent magnet. The travel sensor is located in the first groove and is fixedly connected to the hydraulic block, and is configured to detect a movement amount of the permanent magnet. In this application, signal precision of the travel sensor is improved through a reasonable layout of the permanent magnet and the travel sensor.
