The invention relates to a front end (1) upper crossmember (2) for a motor vehicle, intended to extend horizontally at the front of the vehicle and having at least one attachment interface (23, 24, 25) for shock sensor (26), the at least one attachment interface comprising: - a nut (27) placed in an orifice (28) formed in a wall (29, 30, 31) of the crossmember in such a way as to allow a shock sensor to be fixed by bolting, - an oblong pre-positioning and indexing hole (33) arranged on the wall in proximity to the nut and provided to receive a protuberance of complementary shape (34) arranged on this same shock sensor; characterized in that the crossmember has a first attachment interface (23) formed in its central part and second and third attachment interfaces (24, 25) formed respectively at each of its two lateral ends.
