This cold recovery system comprises: a first heat exchanger that transfers cold thermal energy from a liquefied gas to a heat medium for cold; a cold recovery cycle that includes a pump for cold provided on the downstream side of the first heat exchanger; a second heat exchanger that transmits thermal energy from a heat medium to the heat medium for cold flowing between the pump for cold and the first heat exchanger; a gas/liquid separator that is provided between the first heat exchanger and the pump for cold, and separates the heat medium for cold into a gas phase and a liquid phase; a liquid return line that is for returning the liquid-phase heat medium for cold to the gas/liquid separator from between the pump for cold and the second heat exchanger; and a third heat exchanger that transmits the cold thermal energy of the liquefied gas to the liquid-phase heat medium for cold which is returned to the gas/liquid separator via the liquid return line, or to the heat medium for cold which is present in the interior of the gas-liquid phase separator.
