The present disclosure refers to a battery module having a housing with coolant jackets that allows for an efficient cooling of battery stacks arranged within the housing from different sides. The disclosure further relates to a battery pack comprising the afore-mentioned battery module and a vehicle comprising one or more of the afore-mentioned battery modules and/or one or more of the afore-mentioned battery packs.
